EVENT INFORMATION Activities for Healthcare Workers: 1. Lectures concerning COPD were presented; topics included early detection of high risk groups and management of stable and acute exacerbation COPD. 2. Discussion of COPD guidelines. Activities for Patients and Public: Patients and their families were invited for an open day held in our hospital. Lectures concerning COPD, inhalation treatment, and smoking were presented, along with pictures and videos. questions about COPD and smoking were asked, and patients took a quiz creating active participation and competition. Patients told stories about self experience with disease, their suffering to breathe, and smoking cessation. Participating Organizations: The event was held in the Chest Department of AL-Zahraa University Hospital over two days for patients and health care providers.
